HEALTH GUARANTEE

English Bulldogs

I, the seller, am, to the best of my knowledge providing a puppy that is free of disease and in good health.  Each Bulldog puppy has been immunized and wormed on a strict schedule. The puppy will be accompanied by a health certificate issued by our veterinarian stating the health of the puppy at time of exam.

At the time of sale and to the best of our knowledge, the puppy will be free of any congenital birth defects. Our puppies are guaranteed against parvovirus, distemper, hepatitis, kennel cough, or other communicable diseases at the time of sale.  Buyer is aware that English Bulldogs are prone to heat stroke and will be responsible to provide an environment that is healthy for their puppy. Buyer has also researched and is knowledgeable of the non-life threatening problems that an English Bulldog could have (such as cherry eye, eyelid surgery (upper & lower), elongated pallet, ect.) and agrees that these are not covered under this health guarantee.    After receiving the puppy, the purchaser has 5 working days to have the veterinarian of their choice examine the puppy to assure them that they have purchased a healthy puppy. This will be done at the purchaser's expense. Under no circumstances will we be responsible for any veterinarian bills acquired by the purchaser for this puppy.  Minor, breed related, treatable or correctable conditions, or any condition that may go away or is considered to be a condition which a puppy will likely outgrow, are not covered.

WE DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS. We will give a replacement puppy, but only for life threatening congenital birth defects. In such an event, buyer shall provide seller with (1) a written explanation from a licensed veterinarian and substantiated by lab tests and/or x-rays as to the nature of the problem. (2) The puppy will be returned to us at buyers expense. (3) The AKC papers will be returned to seller.  (4) The opportunity to have a veterinarian of our choice examine the puppy for signs of abuse or life threatening congenital defect. (5) Proof that the puppy was examined by a certified veterinarian no later than 5 working days after receiving the puppy. If proof of a life threatening congenital defect is shown and all of the above criteria are met, we will replace a puppy of equal value to the one purchased when one comes available.  No problems other than life threatening congenital defects are covered in this agreement.  We offer this guarantee until the puppy reaches ONE YEAR OF AGE.

If at anytime you transfer ownership of the puppy, this agreement is void immediately.

Because Bulldog skin can be sensitive to some chemicals - I only recommend and require the use of FRONTLINE or FRONTLINE PLUS, for flea and tick defense.
